About the role
Beztak Senior Living is seeking a Life Enrichment Assistant/Driver to join our team. This position drives senior residents to outings and appointments and assists the Director of Life Enrichment with coordinating and facilitating activities and events for residents, both inside and outside the community.
Responsibilities
- Drive residents in community vehicles to social events, appointments, and special events.
- Encourage resident socialization and participation in activities to promote a positive community environment.
- Provide administrative support to the Life Enrichment team.
- Assist with event set-up for activities, concerts, and other events.
- Maintain Transportation Vehicle records.
- Manage driving time and communicate clearly with the Life Enrichment Team, Concierge, and Residents.
- Operate a company or personal vehicle for work-related purposes.
- Work in a high-pressure environment, handling urgent matters, resolving conflicts, and interacting with residents, vendors, and difficult customers.

Requirements
- Commercial Driver’s License Class A or B, with P endorsement.
- Clean driving record.
- Willingness and ability to drive for work-related purposes.
Background Check Process
Beztak completes pre-employment testing, including criminal background checks, fingerprinting (where applicable), and drug testing. State-specific requirements:
- Florida: Level 2 ACHA requirements (details).
- Arizona: Fingerprint clearance card, TB test, and clearance from the Adult Protective Services registry.
- Michigan: TB test and fingerprinting.

Physical Demands
- Ability to operate an automobile and sit for long periods.

Work Environment
- Primarily confined to a vehicle but may work in an office or indoor settings.
