Life Enrichment Assistant

Job Summary

The Life Enrichment/Activities Assistant plays a crucial role in ensuring the optimal well-being of residents across various levels of care at Oak Hammock at the University of Florida. This position is responsible for organizing and supervising all on-campus and off-campus activities planned in the Health Pavilion, adhering to established policies and procedures to ensure the safety of each resident.

Qualifications and Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Valid Driver’s License
• One year of experience in a healthcare-associated field, preferably long-term care
• Excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with staff, residents, families, and community members
• Empathetic, energetic, and affinity for working with a diverse senior population
• Completion and passing of a Level II Background Check and Drug Screening
