Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
- Assist Life Enrichment Director with coordinating and facilitating activities and events for residents, both inside and outside the community, designed to promote resident's creativity, physical and mental well-being, socialization, and fun!
- Encourage resident socialization and participation in activities and events to minimize resident solidarity and promote a positive community environment.
- Maintain inventory checklist of all supplies and materials required to enhance Life Enrichment program.
- Cook up the community volunteer program.
- Assign tasks to volunteers and encourage their participation in community events and activities programs.
- Provide administrative duties to support the Life Enrichment team as assigned by the Life Enrichment Director.
- Help welcome new residents upon move-in (balloons and framed announcement, shadow box/shelves decorated, etc.).
- Work alongside care staff to transport residents to activities and events. Drive community vehicle.
- Assist with all other duties as assigned by the Life Enrichment Director.
