Life Enrichment Assistant - Activities Assistant

About the Role

Otterbein Granville, a 5 STAR rated Life Plan Community in Granville, is seeking a Part-time Life Enrichment Assistant. This role works 2 days a week and 1 weekend a month, approximately 38 hours per bi-weekly pay period.

• 2 days a week: 11:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.
• 1 weekend a month: 11:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Life Enrichment Director and team to plan and carry out enriching activities.
• Assist residents with light exercise and engaging experiences in the Health Center to enhance their quality of life.

Requirements

• Prior recreational/life enrichment experience gained through education or relevant work.
• Proficiency with computers for electronic medical records.
• Patience and ability to initiate activities based on individual care plans.
• Comfort facilitating group activities.
• Ability to walk, push wheelchairs (residents up to 250 lbs), and move/rearrange equipment up to 50 lbs.

Must have a caring demeanor and a positive attitude.
