Responsibilities

  • Develop the monthly life enrichment calendar to help meet the physical, social, mental, emotional, and spiritual needs of residents.
  • Oversee service plans and conduct personal interviews with residents to gain insight into their preferences and abilities.
  • Train all staff participating in life enrichment programs.
  • Maintain a volunteer program, ensuring volunteers are trained and supervised.
  • Coordinate the transportation of residents to and from outside events, including driving company bus and/or vehicle when needed.
  • Monitor budget, equipment, and supplies to ensure the activity schedule can be completed successfully.
  • Capture and share photos and videos of resident activities on company-approved social media and publication platforms, according to company standards.
  • Assist the Sales Director with planning and delivering community events or activities.
  • Design the physical layout and decorations for activities, displays, and other life enrichment products that meet company standards.
  • Review the activity program to ensure it meets all state, federal, company, and other regulations and guidelines.

Requirements

  • 1 year of activity planning or event planning experience (required).
  • Prior experience in leading volunteers and supervising staff (preferred).
  • Experience working with older adults (preferred).
  • Ability to perform standing, walking, bending, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 lbs throughout the shift.
  • Current and valid driver’s license (required).
  • Age 25 years or older to meet company insurance requirements (required).
  • Clean driving record to meet company insurance requirements (required).
  • Willingness and ability to transport residents in company vehicles/buses (required).
