Life Coach (Chantilly, VA)
About the role
Real Heroes Work Here! CRi is a non-profit organization dedicated to enabling individuals with disabilities to live independently. We are seeking Life Coaches for our Adult Day Support Program in Chantilly, VA.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a diverse team to support individuals with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities.
- Provide life/social skill training and community integration supports.
- Aid in making meaningful community connections.
- Implement Person Centered Plans, Behavior Support Plans, and crisis response strategies.
Requirements
- High School diploma.
- One (1) year working with individuals with developmental disabilities, preferably in a day program.
- Knowledge of high intensity behavioral supports.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to walk, stand, stoop, push a wheelchair, lift 70 pounds repetitively, and implement strategic physical intervention techniques.
- Indoor and Outdoor program site and various community locations.
- Must use universal precautions.
