About the Opportunity
The LIFE CLAIMS ANALYST role is responsible for reviewing, investigating, and adjudicating life insurance claims to ensure accurate and timely processing. This position contributes by providing expert claims support, authorizing payments, and maintaining communication standards, directly affecting claim resolution and customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Review and determine outcomes on life insurance claims
- Maintain communication according to ERISA standards during claim review and investigation
- Respond to inquiries about life claims within established timeframes
- Provide accurate claim decisions in line with policy, state, and federal guidelines
- Adjudicate an average volume of 50 life claims weekly
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
- At least 18 years of age
- Minimum 2 years of customer service experience involving analysis and problem-solving for policyholders and employers
- Minimum 2 years recent experience processing life insurance claims from receipt to resolution, including eligibility verification, benefit calculations, and disbursement
- Proficiency with Windows and ability to learn complex computer systems
Pay
Salary ranges from $49,700 to $88,800 annually based on full-time employment and factors such as education and experience.

Schedule
Availability to work full-time hours between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm EST, with core hours from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm EST and occasional overtime as needed.
