About the role

You will be working in our Austin, TX location processing orders related to public record research and filing. This role involves working full-time, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with coworkers, correspondents, jurisdiction employees, and others in a timely, effective, and professional manner
  • Utilize Capitol Services’ Order Entry system for processing client orders
  • Follow system prompts related to client preferences, Finance department warnings, and other information closely
  • Access public record websites for the purpose of researching filed liens and litigation
  • Follow established reporting guidelines when building lien search reports based on evidence received
  • Submit prepared filings to correspondents or state/county offices directly for filing
  • Maintain clear records throughout transactions to ensure accurate results and invoicing
  • Provide training to new hires within the department

  • Technical competencies: Comfortable using Microsoft Software (Outlook, Word, and Excel), interacting with Adobe PDF documents
  • Office environment: Able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in public record research and filing
  • Knowledge of public record websites and systems
