Role Overview

Supervise the licensing process to ensure compliance with all applicable state-specific regulations as they pertain to business written on TMHCC Life paper (TMHCC Stop Loss Group and TMHCC Specialty Group).

Monitor and communicate state licensing regulation changes, communicate those changes to all impacted departments, and initiate changes in licensing/appointment processes as needed.

Requirements

Maintain customer-focused working relationships with regional office personnel, management, other TMHCC departments and producers.

What You Bring

  • 5 years of experience in Licensing
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Provide guidance, development, and training to ensure quality work from licensing team.
  • Develop and implement improvements as needed to streamline the onboarding process to improve the overall producer experience.
  • Remain current on compliance issues, regulatory requirements, and company procedures.
  • Maintain licensing records and preserve the confidentiality of personal information to the extent reasonably possible in fulfilling job duties.
  • Review agency name changes and provide the requested information to Contact Management.
  • Review all In-Force policy changes to Agent of Record and/or Commission Payee to determine whether compliance with state requirements is impacted.
  • Oversee Licensing’s review of all mid-year BOR changes for policies.
  • Act as Administrator and SME for TMHCC’s Intuitive Producer Administration platform (IPA) and as a member of the IPA Center of Excellence team (CoE), addressing updates to the platforms.
  • Review, reconcile/pay state appointment renewal invoices.
  • Pay licensing invoices via company eCheck or credit card.
  • Approve all Esker payments for the Compliance department.
  • Quarterly LAS Security Reviews.
  • Maintain, process, and renew state licenses/appointments for TMHCC executives.
