Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensures that state licenses are obtained and maintained for all positions that require a license.
- Completes applications/renewal forms and instructions for completion and ensures accuracy prior to submitting for processing.
- SUBMITTERS SUBMISSION OF RENEWAL FORMS AND MISCELLANEOUS CORRESPONDENCE.
- RECEIVES, RESEARCHES, AND RESPONDS TO INCOMING QUESTIONS/COMPLAINTS; PROVIDES INFORMATION, EXPLAINS POLICIES AND PROCEDURES.
- Maintains and or creates files/record keeping systems for individual licensing.
- PERFORMS OTHER CLERICAL DUTIES SUCH AS FILING, FAXING, COPYING, ETC.
- TRACKS APPLICATION AND RENEWAL STATUS AND FOLLOWS UP ON ISSUES, CONFLICTS AND PROBLEMS.
- USES INTERNAL PROGRAMS, AND INTERNET SITES FOR RECORDING AND VERIFING LICENSE STATUS.
- RESPONDS TO LICENSING INQUIRIES FROM COMPANY AND INDUSTRY CONTACTS.
- PARTICIPATES IN LEGAL RESEARCH AND COMMUNICATES REQUIREMENTS/RESTRICTIONS TO THE APPROPRIATE TEAMS.
- MANTAINS LICENSING FILES AND THE INTEGRITY OF THE LICENSING DATABASE.
- AFFORDS ASSISTANCE WITH SPECIAL PROJECTS AS INITIATED AND SUPERVISED BY MANAGER.
- AFFORDS PERFORMANCE OF OTHER DUTIES AND PROJECTS AS ASSIGNED AND APPROVED BY THE LICENSING MANAGER AND LEADERSHIP.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- KNOWLEDGE OF RELEVANT FEDERAL AND STATE LICENSING LAWS AND REGULATIONS.
- KNOWLEDGE OF AND A PROFICIENCY IN USING COMPUTER AND MICROSOFT OFFICE APPLICATIONS (WORD, EXCEL, ACCESS, OUTLOOK), AND INTERNET.
- KNOWLEDGE OF ORGANIZATION’S PRODUCTS, POLICIES AND PROCEDURES, AND THE RESPECTIVE FUNCTIONS OF THE DEPARTMENTS.
- EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS.
- MUST BE VERY ORGANIZED AND DETAIL ORIENTED.
- REQUIRES CONTINUOUS USE OF DISCRETION, CREATIVITY, INDEPENDENT JUDGMENT AND/OR INDEPENDENT ACTION.
