Licensing Analyst

About the role

IDR is seeking a Licensing Analyst to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Brentwood, Tennessee. This role involves managing licensing compliance for a large retail organization, ensuring regulatory adherence and smooth licensing procedures across federal, state, and local agencies.

Responsibilities

• Manage third-party licensing administration and oversee business license renewals and reporting processes to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.
• Act as a liaison between internal teams, government agencies, and third-party licensing administrators to facilitate timely processing and document retention.
• Verify and collect licensing data, ensuring accuracy and completeness of documentation.
• Respond to licensing inquiries from internal and external stakeholders regarding status updates, violations, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor licensing activities to prevent compliance issues and support transfer of licensing information among relevant parties.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in a corporate environment or Licensing/Compliance position.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred, or suitable combination of education and experience.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills, comfortable engaging with external and internal contacts via telephone.
• Ability to exercise judgment and discretion handling confidential paperwork and matters.
