Duties
- Establish a close working relationship with Tribal governments and gaming agencies.
- Produce assigned written reports following established criteria.
- Interpret and apply Bureau policies.
- Interpret and apply gambling statutes and regulations in the review and processing of vendor entity and principal applications.
- Prepare recommendations for findings of suitability in accordance with the Tribal-State Gaming compact and the Gambling Control Act.
- Perform a comparative analysis, examine personal history, and present written reports and oral briefings to management regarding recommendations for licensure or administrative action.
Requirements
- Detailed knowledge of gaming activities and Tribal gaming sensitivities in California.
- Financial analysis skills.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a combination of education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree and two years of progressively responsible work experience in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Multi-disciplinary skills including a detailed knowledge of gaming activities and Tribal gaming sensitivities in California, financial analysis, investigative operations, communication and presentation skills.
