About This Role

SpartanX is seeking Licensed Wireman and Licensed Journeyman Electricians to support residential solar installation and electrical operations across active markets. Ideal candidates are licensed electricians with a passion for clean workmanship, safety, efficiency, and professionalism. The role involves installing, wiring, troubleshooting, and commissioning residential solar PV systems, performing electrical work for various solar configurations, and ensuring all work adheres to NEC and local code requirements.

• Install, wire, troubleshoot, and commission residential solar PV systems
• Perform electrical work for roof-mounted and ground-mounted solar systems
• Interpret electrical drawings, site plans, blueprints, and system schematics
• Ensure all electrical work meets NEC standards and local AHJ requirements
• Troubleshoot system performance issues, inverter faults, and electrical deficiencies
• Perform testing and verification of system functionality and safety
• Lead and support installation crews onsite when required
• Maintain organized documentation, photos, and completion records
• Communicate professionally with homeowners, inspectors, and internal operations teams
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

What We’re Looking For

• Active Wireman or Journeyman Electrician license required
• Solar PV experience preferred
• Strong understanding of residential electrical systems and troubleshooting
• Able to work independently and maintain productivity in the field
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Comfortable working on rooftops, ladders, and in outdoor environments
• Professional communication and customer interaction skills
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• Able to lift, carry, and move equipment safely throughout the workday
