SpartanX is Seeking Experienced Wireman and Journeyman Electricians
This role is ideal for electricians who are proud of their work, safety, efficiency, and professionalism. Candidates must be comfortable working independently, troubleshooting electrical systems, and ensuring all work is completed safely and in compliance with the NEC and local code requirements.
- Install, wire, troubleshoot, and commission residential solar PV systems
- Perform electrical work for roof-mounted and ground-mounted solar systems
- Interpret electrical drawings, site plans, blueprints, and system schematics
- Ensure all electrical work meets NEC standards and local AHJ requirements
- Troubleshoot system performance issues, inverter faults, and electrical deficiencies
- Perform testing and verification of system functionality and safety
- Support installation crews onsite and maintain efficient workflow
- Maintain organized documentation, photos, and completion records
- Communicate professionally with homeowners, inspectors, and internal operations teams
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Requirements
- Previous residential electrical experience required
- Solar PV experience preferred
- Strong understanding of residential electrical systems and troubleshooting
- Ability to work independently and maintain productivity in the field
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Comfortable working on rooftops, ladders, and in outdoor environments
- Professional communication and customer interaction skills
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment safely throughout the workday
- Solar installation experience
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
- Experience with battery storage systems
- Experience supporting residential solar crews
