Responsibilities
- Deliver and coordinate quality patient care in compliance with physician orders.
- Observes and assesses patient condition and care needs, reporting changes to supervisor and physician as needed.
- Documents all activities, assessments, nursing actions, responses, and coordination of care in a timely manner.
- Participates, implements, and updates the nursing care plan.
- Takes appropriate nursing action based on assessment and achieves expected outcomes.
- Recognizes changes in patient needs and responses requiring intervention and implements care to prevent or reduce risk.
- Complies with Aveanna policies, state and federal regulations, accrediting bodies, and the Nurse Practice Act.
- Provides care utilizing infection control measures that protect both staff and patients according to OSHA standards.
- Educates patients and families about disease processes, self-care techniques, and prevention strategies.
- Maintains knowledge of competencies related to the nursing profession through participation in educational programs and continuing education.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Unencumbered state license as a Licensed Nurse in the state of practice.
- Current CPR certification.
- Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance with nursing care and policies and procedures.
- One year of recent experience as a Licensed Nurse in a clinical care setting (South Carolina), one year of experience required working under current nursing license (California, Louisiana).
- Continuing Education as required by state.
Qualifications
- Must have and maintain an active, unencumbered LVN license.
- Current TB skin test (within last 12 months).
- Twelve (12) months prior hands-on nursing experience required.
- Reliable transportation.

$30-33/HR

Full-time, part-time, or PRN. Days, nights, and weekend shifts— we will work with your availability!
