Licensed Vocational Nurse - LVN - Skilled Nursing

About the role

The LVN is responsible for the overall nursing care/service on their shift, including the accurate and timely administration of medications, treatments, documentation and emergency calls, as indicated. Responsibilities

• Assist the RN supervisor and/or supervise and oversee direct care provided by CNAs to maintain quality resident care.
• Assist the RN supervisor with contacting residents’ attending physicians for changes in condition, new admission orders, discharge orders, and medication/treatment order changes.
• Notify resident family members/surrogate decision makers of condition changes, medication/treatment changes, obtain informed consents, develop resident care plans, and document all communications.
