About the role
We are seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide home health assessments and visits.
Responsibilities
- Conduct medical histories, administer vaccines and medications, and monitor patient progress
- Drive to patient homes to perform visits
- Perform diagnostic tests, venipuncture, and document all interventions accurately
- Troubleshoot test systems
- Recognize urgent medical situations and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Maintain equipment
- Code medical exams
- Ensure compliance with protocols and HIPAA regulations
Qualifications
- Active LVN license
- Blood withdrawal certification
- At least 6 months of LVN experience
- BLS certification
- Valid California driver’s license
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to lift 50-60 lbs
- Comfort with independent home visits
Skills
- Bilingual skills (preferred)
- Bedside experience (preferred)
