Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN/LPN) Baylor - FT Weekends | Dayton Specialty

This is a full time status opportunity to work Baylor shifts. This position is required to work 36 weekend hours (12 hour shifts) and be paid for a standard 40 hour work week.

Responsibilities

• Providing appropriate nursing care, as directed by an RN on the nursing unit
• Gathering and reporting data
• Carrying out orders
• Performing therapeutic procedures on patients in an age and population-appropriate manner
• Performing other related duties as assigned or requested

Education and Training

• Holds current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates
• Current BLS certification required; must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment
• Current IV Certification within 90 days of employment, if required per state regulations

Experience

• One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required
