Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)

About the role

The Unit Manager - LPN is responsible for delivering high-quality, compliant, and cost-effective nursing care to achieve positive clinical outcomes, patient/family satisfaction, and employee engagement.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to ensure adequate nursing coverage for safe care.
• Provide professional supervision and guidance to non-professional staff.
• Identify staff educational needs and coordinate training with the Nurse Educator.
• Oversee medication management, ensuring proper handling and supplies in line with policies.
• Deliver direct patient care alongside other nurses to maintain clinical skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited LPN program with current licensure in the state.
• At least one year of nurse management experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
