Licensed Vocational Nurse/ LPT - Part-Time

About the Role

Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) at Sierra Health and Wellness. The inpatient facility houses 16 clients and provides specialized, personalized care in a newly remodeled 4‑acre campus.

Positions Available: Part‑time (Friday and Saturday, night on call) and Full‑time.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee detoxing clients and ensure all medical processes and operations are followed and documented.
• Supervise licensed and non‑licensed staff in day‑to‑day delivery of patient care.
• Prepare and review medical records and nurses’ notes to evaluate residents’ physical and emotional status.
• Provide nursing care according to physician orders, care plans, established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Prepare and monitor patient‑administered medications as ordered, in accordance with nursing standards and facility policies.
• Sign, date, and perform all charting, record‑keeping, and care plans per established policies and procedures.
• Provide outstanding individualized resident care.

Requirements

• Current, valid LVN or LPT license.
• Willingness to undergo drug screen, TB test, and physical examination.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and e‑mail; EMR system experience preferred.
• Ability to coordinate with professionals from diverse backgrounds.
• Commitment to the philosophy of recovery and respect for clients.
• Customer‑service oriented, professional attitude.
• Valid driver’s license.

Pay

Hourly rate: $36.00 – $44.00. The posted range is an estimate and not a guaranteed wage; actual pay may vary based on factors such as experience, specialty, training, shift, and business needs.
