Licensed Vocational Nurse

About the Role

We are seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our team at VAMC in Olathe, Kansas in a full-time capacity. Minimum Qualifications: Must be licensed as an LPN in the state of Kansas and have six months of experience Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Additional training and certification required by the hospital or facility prior to assignment working in patient care.

Responsibilities

• Must provide leadership and coordination of quality patient care by fostering therapeutic relationships, active treatment, and supporting the hospital
• Provides patient care and recognition of behavioral and physical changes
• Serves as shift leader, if assigned
