About the role

DaVita is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse to provide care in an outpatient dialysis center. You will make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and their families dealing with end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease. No dialysis experience is required; training will be provided and may take place in a facility or training clinic other than your assigned home clinic. You will float to various clinics during and after training.

You must have a flexible schedule and be able to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in accordance with CMS guidelines and facility protocols.
• Operate the water treatment system after completing required training approved by the medical director and governing body.
• Leverage clinical goal setting and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient health outcomes.

Requirements

• Current LPN-LVN license in the state of practice.
• Current CPR certification.
• IV certification if required by state regulations.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Outlook; functional proficiency in DaVita’s computer systems within 90 days of hire.
• Minimum of one year’s experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
• BONENT or CHT certification preferred or as required by state regulation.
