Licensed Vocational Nurse

DaVita is seeking an experienced Licensed Vocational Nurse to provide compassionate care in an outpatient dialysis center, making a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and their families dealing with end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease.

About the Role

• No dialysis experience is required; training will be provided and may take place in a facility or training clinic other than your assigned home clinic.
• Float to various clinics during and after training.
• Flexible schedule required, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Build long-term relationships with patients and their families in an intimate outpatient setting.
• Work as part of a collaborative team in a positive environment.
• Deliver care to patients with multiple co-morbidities, requiring unique treatment plans and a broad range of nursing skills.
• Work in a fast-paced environment using clinical knowledge, empathy, and hands-on care.

Requirements

• Current LPN-LVN license in the state of practice.
• Current CPR certification.
• IV certification required if mandated by state regulations.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completed training program approved by the medical director and governing body as required by CMS guidelines prior to operating the water treatment system.
• BONENT or CHT certification preferred or as required by state regulation.
• Minimum of one year’s experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Outlook; functional proficiency in DaVita’s computer systems within 90 days of hire.

Pay

The wage range for this role is $26.00 - $38.00/hour, depending on qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience. DaVita offers a competitive total rewards package, including healthcare coverage and additional benefits.
