Pay
- $30.00 - $42.50 / hour
- Candidate with VTS credentialing eligible for compensation commensurate with experience*
- Shift differentials: 4-hour minimum
- Mon – Fri: 6pm to 8am = $3.50
- Sat & Sun: 6pm to 8am = $5.00
- Sat & Sun: 8am to 6pm = $3.50
Responsibilities
- Induce, monitor, and recover anesthesia in patients
- Use anesthesia/monitoring equipment
- Triage emergency cases
- Obtain vitals such as temperature, heart rate, respiratory rate, and blood pressure
- Perform digital radiography
- Have a complete understanding of normal patient vital signs
- Calculate medical math and administer medications
- Perform phlebotomy and place intravenous catheters
- Place and maintain feeding tubes and central line catheters
- Mentor and train other co-workers
- Address client concerns with patience and empathy
Qualifications
- Experience in emergency and critical care
- Proficiency in anesthesia and monitoring equipment
- Knowledge of digital radiography techniques
- Understanding of normal patient vital signs
- Ability to perform phlebotomy and place catheters
- Experience with feeding tubes and central line catheters
- Passion for mentoring and training
- Patience and empathy for clients
