Licensed Veterinary Technician, Part Time

About the Role

We are seeking a Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT, LVT, or RVT) who thrives in a fast-paced clinical setting and is dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care. In this role, your advanced technical expertise will be fully utilized and valued. You will play a critical part in our patient outcomes, executing everything from advanced anesthesia management to precise surgical nursing.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians in advanced anesthetic procedures, including pre-medication, intubation, surgical prep, and monitoring.
• Perform diagnostic sample collection, imaging, and lab submissions.
• Place IV catheters, perform venipuncture, administer premedication, manage anesthesia induction and monitoring, prepare patients, and provide surgical and perioperative nursing care.
• Adapt to the different needs of each patient and remain composed during stressful and emotional situations.

Qualifications

• Certified, Registered, or Licensed Veterinary Technician (CVT/RVT/LVT).
• Emergency specialty experience required.
• Strong technical and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced veterinary environment.

Pay & Benefits

• $27/hour and up (based on experience and skills).

Part-time: Monday – Wednesday, 8am – 3pm.
