Licensed Veterinary Technician Part Time

About the role

This is a full-time position that requires flexibility to work nights and weekends and holidays. As a Licensed Veterinary Technician, you will triage and obtain patient history, identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR, place IVC's and advanced catheters like Jugular catheters, Central Lines or PICC lines, monitor and care for ventilator cases, work alongside other skilled technicians and assistants in providing excellent, advanced medicine to your patients, and have a passion for mentoring and training other co-workers. You will feel gratification of nursing critically ill patients back to health and reunite them with their pet parents.

Responsibilities

• Triage and obtain patient history
• Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR
• Place IVC's and advanced catheters like Jugular catheters, Central Lines or PICC lines

Qualifications

• Unrestricted, current authorization to work in the U.S.
• Passionate about patient care and working in a fast-paced, challenging, interesting, and collaborative environment
• Ability to work nights and weekends and holidays
• Licensed Veterinary Technician certification

Pay

The pay band is a starting point and is dependent on experience and advancement through our competency leveling system. Pay range is $30.00 - $42.00 / hour.
