Thrive Pet Healthcare Specialists is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician to support complex cases in our Internal Medicine department. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in delivering exceptional patient care.
Role Responsibilities
- Provide quality pet and client care in an Internal Medicine setting
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with pet parents
- Absorb anesthesia, patient monitoring, and recovery
- Perform venipuncture and support outpatient treatments
- Apply medical math accurately in daily patient care
- Use working knowledge of anesthetics, diagnostic imaging, laboratory techniques, and general patient care
- Remain calm and effective during stressful situations
Job Requirements
- At least 3 years recent experience in veterinary practice
- Ability to perform routine veterinary medical procedures
- Patient care experience required
- Excellent interpersonal communications skills
- High school diploma or GED
- Veterinary Technician license is required
