Responsibilities

• Triaging and recognizing medical emergencies and illnesses
• Assessing patients and recording vitals
• Assisting doctors with diagnostics and completing treatments
• Basic husbandry and nursing care
• Monitoring patient changes and providing compassionate care
• Taking blood and placing catheters
• Assisting in radiography capture
• Preparing samples for outside reference labs
• Running in-house labs and preparing medications
• Administering medications
• Maintaining a hospitable environment

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience as a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) in a general practice (GP) setting
• Availability to work weekends (Saturday or Sunday)
• Comfortable with computers and online tools
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
