Job Summary
Clinica Sierra Vista is a Federally Qualified Health Center committed to serving diverse communities. We are seeking a Licensed Therapist IBH to join our integrated care team.
About the Role
The Licensed Therapist works in the integrated or collaborative care model within a Community Health Center. They provide care to patients with mild to moderate behavioral health, substance use disorder, and co-occurring treatment needs. They also provide warm hand-off consultations with primary care providers and health center patients, develop treatment plans, deliver brief psychotherapy and psychoeducation interventions, and coordinate psychiatric and medical services.
Responsibilities
- Must hold a valid license as a LCSW, LMFT, or Licensed Clinical Psychologist.
- Four years or more of psychotherapy experience, working with adults and families.
- Familiar with brief therapy models and understands the relationship between physical and mental wellbeing, including substance use risks and effects.
- Manage time and cases effectively, turn in paperwork by deadlines, and maintain client dignity and confidentiality.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team, attend meetings, and articulate brief psychotherapy concepts for cross-learning benefit.
- Computer literate and possess excellent verbal and written clinical skills.
- Valid California Driver’s License and reliable access to an automobile with liability insurance.
- Prior to employment, clearance by the Department of Justice and a TB test will be required.

Qualifications
- Valid Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) Licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed with the California Board of Psychology.
- Three to four years of working in community mental health or in an integrated behavioral health program is preferred.
- Possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) card, American Heart Association accredited required.
- Adhere to Clinica Sierra Vista’s employee health/immunization requirements or provide a valid exemption request for subsequent approval.
