About the Role
The Therapist provides clinical social work services on a designated unit in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Lakeside Behavioral Health. This opportunity offers a team-oriented and compassionate work environment, with growth and development opportunities within UHS and its subsidiaries.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychosocial assessments, individual, group, and family therapy.
- Participate in treatment team planning, processing commitments, and discharge planning/case management services.
- Provide crisis intervention and liaison services with referral sources and other hospital departments.
- Demonstrate flexibility for reassignment to units providing care to varied populations, including adults and dually diagnosed patients in inpatient and partial hospital settings.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Clinical/Counseling Psychology, or a related social services field required; licensure preferred.
- Prior experience working with a psychiatric mental health population, preferably in an inpatient setting.
- TN LCSW, LPC, or LP licensure preferred.
- Knowledge of case management, discharge planning, group leadership skills, age-specific growth and development, crisis and behavior management, and family therapy theory and practice.
