Licensed Therapist Contractor- Remote -Veteran and Military Mental Health

Responsibilities

• Provides individual and group interventions to support patients coping with mental health diagnoses, psychosocial stressors, grief, and life transitions.
• Conducts cognitive screening to address functional and cognitive ability questions.
• Collaborates with appropriate care and treatment for mental health symptoms or behavioral health issues.
• Completes thorough psychosocial assessments and provides a DSM diagnosis to determine patient and family needs.
• Engages in emergency/crisis interventions and develops crisis management plans.
• Provides psychotherapy as individual, group, and family interventions when clinically indicated.
• Maintains knowledge of Veteran's benefits and services, and makes appropriate referrals to community and governmental programs.
• Provides case management services to patients and their families throughout the continuum of care.
• Maintains accurate documentation and completes encounters according to client regulations.

Requirements

• Licensure: Must be licensed to practice independently in ANY state; Psychologist, LPC, LMHC, LMFT, LCSW.
• Education: Master's degree in social work, counseling, or related field OR doctoral degree in psychology.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience practicing therapy independently.
• PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Experience with veterans and military members, consultation about mental health diagnosis, familiarity with DSM5 clinical presentations, EBP treatment experience, knowledge of suicide risk management, proficiency in EHRs and Microsoft Office.
• Modalities: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (generalist), CBT-I, Interpersonal Therapy, Problem-Solving Therapy, MCBT, Short-term Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Prolonged Exposure (PE), EMDR, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy skills training, CBT-I, Suicide risk management training.
• US Citizen and resides in the United States.

Pay

$70-$92 per hour.
