Licensed Therapist Contractor- Remote -Veteran and Military Mental Health

Responsibilities

• Provides individual and group interventions to support patients coping with mental health diagnoses, psychosocial stressors, grief, and life transitions.
• Conducts cognitive screening to address specific functional and/or cognitive ability questions.
• Provides immediate access to clinical assessment and appropriate collaborative care and treatment for mental health symptoms or behavioral health issues.
• Maintains knowledge of Veteran's benefits and services, and makes appropriate referrals to community and governmental programs or agencies.
• Adheres to clients' regulations regarding documentation and completion of encounters.

Requirements

• Licensure: Must be licensed to practice independently in ANY state; Psychologist, LPC, LMHC, LMFT, LCSW
• Education: Master's degree in social work, counseling, or related field; doctoral degree in psychology
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience practicing therapy independently
• Preferred experience: Experience providing therapy with veterans and military members
• Skills: Knowledge of DSM5 clinical presentations, experience with various modalities such as ACT, CBT, EMDR, etc.
• Interdisciplinary teamwork: Ability to work effectively within interdisciplinary teams
• Knowledge of risk assessment and mental health crises procedures
• Electronic Health Records: Experience with relevant software
• Microsoft Office: Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams
• US citizenship and residency
