In our desire to support healthy families, Granite City Counseling’s multidisciplinary team offers a variety of therapy services for individuals, couples, and families. The clinic also counsels individuals and families for behavioral and mental health issues that lead to or result from chemical and substance abuse.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain ethical and evidence-based clinical practice
  • Work with children ages 6+, adolescents, and adults as well as couples and families
  • Facilitate men’s and women's domestic violence groups if there is a need

Requirements

Clinical Trainee Qualifications:

  • Has completed an accredited graduate program of study to prepare the staff person for independent licensure as a mental health professional and who is in compliance with the requirements of the applicable health-related licensing board, including requirements for supervised practice
  • A commitment to culturally responsive, client-centered care

Licensed Therapist Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in a related field plus a Minnesota license as an LICSW, LMFT, LPC, or LPCC required
  • A minimum of 2 years of post-Master’s experience, including completion of clinical supervision toward licensure
  • Strong verbal and written communication and clinical skills
  • Flexible Thinking
  • Experience with children and/or adolescents preferred
  • Experience with trauma, anxiety, depression, or other specialty populations
  • A commitment to culturally responsive, client-centered care

Independently Licensed (LPCC, LPC, LMFT, LICSW, or Clinical Trainee II LPCC-track) preferred.

Pay

$51,000-$74,000 annually
