LICENSED THERAPIST

The Role

The Harrisburg Juvenile Treatment Center (H.J.T.C.) is seeking a Licensed Therapist to join our team. We are dedicated to providing a comprehensive, trauma-responsive program that fosters personal and academic growth for at-risk young females.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy
• Oversight of treatment completion for students under care
• Services including clinical assessments, service planning, counseling, case management, record keeping, and service coordination
• Document and assess the effectiveness of interventions towards treatment plan objectives and goals
• May provide crisis intervention as needed
• Monthly progress notes, staffing reports, plans, and discharge summaries for all students within care

Requirements

• Acceptable Arkansas license as LPC, LAC, LMSW, LCSW, or LMFT
• A Master’s Degree in a relevant field
• At least 21 years of age
• Criminal background check, drug, physical, and TB test
• Search of the child and adult abuse central registry
• Meet requirements to become an ROP eligible driver

• Experience working with at-risk young females
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care principles
