LICENSED THERAPIST
About the role
We are seeking a Licensed Mental Health Professional to join our energetic and forward-thinking team at Freedom Behavioral. Patient care is our priority, and we are committed to quality, compliance, and compassionate service.
Responsibilities
- Conduct individual, family, and group therapy sessions aligned with program schedules
- Complete psychosocial assessments and develop treatment plans
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and external agencies
- Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings and staffing's
- Ensure documentation complies with facility and regulatory standards
- Provide crisis intervention and facilitate special case conferences when needed
- Maintain a therapeutic, safe, and supportive environment for patients
- Uphold all facility policies and regulatory guidelines
Requirements
- Education: Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health field
- Licensure: Must hold a current and active license in the state of Louisiana (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LMSW, PLPC, Ect.)
- Experience: Previous experience working with adult and/or geriatric populations is required. Experience working with adolescents is strongly preferred
