Licensed Surveyor
About the role
We are seeking a Licensed Surveyor to support our surveying services through a combination of fieldwork, technical expertise, quality control, and project coordination. This dual field/office position includes hands-on surveying, reviewing and sealing plats, ALTA/NSPS land title surveys, and other survey documents, while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform hands-on surveying throughout Wisconsin, with occasional travel to neighboring states.
- Review and seal plats, ALTA/NSPS land title surveys, and other regulated survey documents.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and quality standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and CAD staff to deliver accurate, efficient survey solutions that support client and project needs.
- Contribute to process improvements and the implementation of emerging survey technologies, automation tools, and data collection methods.
Requirements
- Progressive experience in land surveying, including managing field-to-finish workflows.
- Experience developing and reviewing plats, ALTA/NSPS land title surveys, and similar regulated survey documents.
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- Eligible to work in the United States.
- Reside in Wisconsin or be willing to relocate to Wisconsin.
- Able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and set corners or stakes with a large hammer.
- Able to work outdoors year-round in all weather and challenging site conditions.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 annually.
Schedule
The schedule for this position is typically Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend work required for fieldwork.
