About the role
As the Licensed Surveyor, you will execute all surveying activities within our organization. You will lead a team of surveyors, train LSITs, and ensure the accurate and timely completion of surveys for various projects. Your role will involve coordination and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Survey Operations: Conduct field survey activities, including boundary surveys, topographic surveys, construction staking, and as-built surveys.
- Review survey data for accuracy and quality control.
- Utilize advanced surveying equipment and technology to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to surveying techniques and equipment.
- Plan and execute surveying projects from inception to completion.
- Cookordination with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand surveying requirements for each project.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Monitor project progress to ensure completion on schedule and within budget.
- Client Communication: Serve as a point of contact for clients regarding surveying projects. Communicate project requirements, timelines, and deliverables to clients clearly and professionally. Address client concerns or issues related to surveying operations promptly and effectively.
- Quality Assurance: Implement quality assurance measures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of survey data. Review surveying methodologies and procedures to identify areas for improvement. Enforce quality control standards to maintain high-quality surveying services.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and standards governing surveying operations. Promote a culture of safety and enforce safety protocols and procedures. Conduct regular safety training and inspections to minimize risks associated with surveying activities.
Requirements
- Professional license as a Licensed Surveyor.
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional surveying experience.
- Experience with surveying equipment and technology.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay
