Licensed Supervising Social Worker - Counseling Center

About the role

The Licensed Supervising Social Worker plays a central role in maintaining the Safe Horizon Counseling Center (SHCC), which specializes in treating traumatized survivors of interpersonal violence and their families.

Responsibilities

• Provides weekly supervision and training to up to 7 staff therapists and social work and mental health counseling interns.
• Supports supervisees to meet productivity standards and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Develops and implements SHCC in-house training program, including training calendar and curriculum.
• Provides licensed trauma-focused treatment to a caseload of 12 individuals and families.
• Facilitates SHCC subcommittees and workgroups, representing SHCC in agency-wide committees as needed.
• Contributes to Case Disposition and Clinical Conference Team meetings.
• Represents Safe Horizon and SHCC through case coordination, clinical consultation, and community presentations.

Qualifications

• Preferred credential: LCSW
• Experience: One year of OMH clinic experience, one year of TFCBT, CPP, Seeking Safety experience, SIFI Certification preferred
