Requirements

• Active Kansas State Department of Education (KSDE) license
• A minimum of 60 college credit hours

Pay

Pay is $135/day with the potential for long-term pay up to $155/day.

To start your Emergency Sub License application, visit KSDE.gov, click on "Licensure" under Popular Resources, then select "Standard & Emergency Substitute License." Review the Emergency Substitute License Requirements, scroll down to "Ready to Apply," and click on "Kansas Licensure Application System." Log in to apply for a sub license or, if you don't have an account, register using the "New User Registration" option.
