Licensed Social Worker MSW PRN

Must be licensed for the State of Tennessee and hold a Master’s degree in Social Work. This PRN position serves patients in Sevier County who have social work needs.

Schedule

PRN – sees patients in Sevier County with social work needs.

Pay

Attractive pay: $27.00 – $30.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients and families with health‑related financial, social, and emotional concerns and help develop effective coping skills.
• Provide social work services in accordance with the plan of care.
• Ensure changes in the patient’s clinical status are communicated promptly to other healthcare team members and the care center office staff.
• Educate patients, family members, and team members on medical social work interventions and the treatment plan.
• Perform care planning, transfer, and discharge functions.
• Identify risks or threats to the patient’s health in the patient’s environment and promptly implement appropriate interventions to reduce those risks.
• Communicate identified risks or threats to the physician and other members of the healthcare team to coordinate care effectively.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Master’s or doctorate degree from a school of social work accredited by the Council on Social Work Education.
• At least one year of social work experience in a health‑care setting.
• Meets state and federal requirements for this position.
• Current CPR certification.
