About the role
The Social Services Director oversees the Social Services Department to ensure residents receive medically-related social services in compliance with State and Federal regulations.
Responsibilities
- Identify the need for medically-related social services and ensure they are provided according to regulations.
- Complete or direct the completion of the social services component of the comprehensive assessment.
- Contribute to and/or direct the creation of social services goals and approaches for the comprehensive care plan.
- Ensure goals and interventions are individualized to match each resident's skills, abilities, and preferences while adhering to Federal and State guidelines.
