Licensed Social Worker
Essentials Duties and Responsibilities
- Provides direct clinical treatment to residents as represented in the caseload through: diagnostic evaluations and screenings, crisis/emergency assessment and intervention, treatment planning and assessment.
- Participates in interdisciplinary and planning meetings.
- Consults with doctors, individuals, and other social services agencies, insurance providers and hospital networks regarding clients, client services and case management.
- Maintain client records and administrative records according to Valley View's policy.
- Attends administrative staff meetings as required.
- Attends in-service education, clinical supervision and professionals meetings as required.
- Perform related duties as assigned.

- Can develop and implement treatment plans which are behaviorally oriented, measurable, and appropriate for the identified level of care.
- Clinical expertise specific to the target population with an ability to engage clients effectively and work with other professionals and organizations.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited college or university.
- A valid Texas Social Work License.
- At least 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting.
- Experience in discharge planning and social services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Skills
Required skills include:
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of social work principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
