About the role
The Social Services Director oversees the development, implementation, supervision, and ongoing evaluation of the Social Services Department to assist residents in attaining or maintaining their highest practicable well-being. This includes identifying the need for medically-related social services and ensuring compliance with State and Federal regulations.
Responsibilities
- Complete and/or direct/delegate the completion of the social services component of the comprehensive resident assessment.
- Contribute to and/or direct/delegate the development of social services goals and approaches for the comprehensive care plan.
- Ensure goals and interventions are individualized to match each resident’s skills, abilities, and interests/preferences in compliance with Federal and State regulations.
