A minimum of one year of security, law enforcement, or military experience is required.

Security Officer/Guard

• Must have excellent Customer Service skills.
• Pass our drug screen and background check.
• Meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard.

Additional Physical Requirements

• Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.
• Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.

Requirements

Interested in becoming armed? Securitas offers an armed training class at the end of each month. Candidates must be able to attend a 4-day unpaid training and be ready to begin work immediately after completion.

The Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers.
