Licensed Psychologist
About the role
BCA is seeking a Licensed Psychologist to join our practice as an independent contractor. You will treat 25-35 clients per week with flexible hours to support work/life balance. A furnished office is available for in-person sessions, and hybrid telehealth options are also supported.
Bethlehem Counseling Associates is the premier counseling practice in the Lehigh Valley, with over 40 years of service and a 97% client satisfaction rate. We offer individual, child/family, couples counseling, and medication management, covering nearly every clinical specialty in-house with over 30 independently contracting therapists.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain rapport with clients
- Evaluate and diagnose mental health symptoms during intake sessions
- Create treatment plans aligned with clients' goals to reduce mental health symptoms
- Complete session progress notes in a timely manner for insurance submission and reimbursement
- Conduct ongoing appointments reflecting clients' treatment goals
- Provide crisis management and intervention as needed
Support & Collaboration
As an independent contractor, you will collaborate with other professionals in an outpatient private practice setting. BCA values peer consultation and is an approved CE provider through the American Psychological Association. We hold 11 commercial contracts with insurance providers and provide administrative support for credentialing, billing, collections, and scheduling, allowing you to focus on client care.
