Licensed Psychological Examiner
About the Role
The Licensed Psychological Examiner (LPE) will provide assessment, diagnosis, care planning, and treatment under the “scope of practice” of their professional licensure or certification to individuals, families, and groups. They will also provide clinical supervision of students as required by state regulations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and develop individualized service plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
- Provide individual, family, and group therapy services.
- Educate patients and families about available resources and assist with navigation of social service systems.
- Facilitate crisis intervention to ensure safety and well-being of patients.
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.
- Participate in team meetings, supervision, and ongoing professional development.
- Assure a safe and secure environment for patients, staff, guests, and visitors.
- Perform additional duties as directed by the Behavioral Health Leadership.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree required.
- Preferred experience as a LPE-I.
- Current LPE-I licensure in the state of practice.
