Licensed Professional Counselor, Social Worker LCSW and Mental Health Therapist LMFT
About the Role
This is a combined posting for a Licensed Professional Counselor, Social Worker (LCSW), and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) at Providence St. Vincent's Medical Center. Full-time positions are available. Responsibilities
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC):
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat psychiatric and substance use disorders.
- Collaborate with patients and their support systems.
- Provide specialized psychotherapy services to reduce or resolve symptoms.
- Complete risk assessments and implement risk reduction plans.
- Utilize evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and dialectical behavioral therapy.
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW):
- Provide comprehensive biopsychosocial/spiritual assessment, diagnosis, and treatment/interventions/advocacy.
- Collaborate with patients and support systems to develop person-centered care plans.
- Work closely with various departments and populations (inpatient/outpatient).
- Adhere to NASW code of ethics and Standards of Practice.
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT):
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat psychiatric and substance use disorders.
- Collaborate with patients and their support systems.
- Provide specialized psychotherapy services to reduce or resolve symptoms.
- Complete risk assessments and implement risk reduction plans.
- Utilize evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and dialectical behavioral therapy.
Qualifications
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC):
- Master's Degree in Counseling, Counseling Psychology, or related field.
- Oregon Professional Counselor License upon hire.
- Preferred: 1 year Master's level practicum in a behavioral health setting; additional experience in substance use treatment.
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW):
- Master's Degree in Social Work from a CSWE Accredited School or a school in candidacy status.
- Oregon Clinical Social Worker License or Washington Clinical Independent Social Worker License upon hire.
- 2 years of relevant Social Work experience, including CSWA experience.
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT):
- Master's Degree in Family Therapy.
- Oregon Marriage and Family Therapist License upon hire.
Pay
Salary Range (Portland, OR):
- Licensed Professional Counselor: $41.63 - $64.63
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker: $41.63 - $64.63
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist: $41.63 - $64.63
Additional compensation may be available, including shift differentials, overtime, and bonuses.
