About the role
This role will include providing mental health individual sessions to patients of varying ages in the Rural Health Clinic.
Responsibilities
- Act as a catalyst for mental wellness, empowering individuals as a provider of mental health counseling
- Utilize your passion to cultivate health with your career and identify clinical criteria (DSM-5/ICD-10) for diagnosis and treatment of children, youth, adolescent/young adult, adult populations and couples seeking counseling
- Apply evidenced-based, innovative therapeutic modalities to treat patient's presenting disorders and increase symptom alleviation
- Develop treatment plans that align with client strengths and challenges, with emphasis on treatment modalities that are a best fit to client’s DSM-5 diagnosis
- Complete timely documentation in accordance with state and ethical guidelines
- Work in collaboration with providers to promote overall health of patients who are referred for mental health services
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree and license in Social Work (LCSW)
- Current Wisconsin licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker
- Ph.D. or Master’s in Counseling or Marriage and Family Therapy
- Current Wisconsin licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor

Schedule
Part-time .8 FTE (32 hours/week) Monday – Friday hours in a clinic setting. Shifts would include 8a-4:30p three days a week and 10:30a-7p one day a week.
