About the Role

Responsible for evaluating individual and family needs after receiving a diagnosis and creating a custom treatment plan. Provides individual, couples, and family therapy to improve mental health and coping skills. Connects families and caregivers to institute and community resources needed to improve quality of life.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluates individuals and families' needs after receiving a diagnosis and creates a custom treatment plan.
  • Provides individual, couples, and family therapy to improve mental health and coping skills.
  • Facilitates and leads various therapeutic and support groups for patients and caregivers to develop appropriate coping mechanisms.
  • Develops innovative support and community-engaging programs for caregivers and patients to promote mental health and encourage involvement in programs.
  • Coordinates with other providers, agencies, and community resources to provide comprehensive care.
  • Connects families and caregivers to institute and community resources needed to improve quality of life.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Psychology or a related field is required.
  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) is required.
  • Two (2) years of counseling, social work, or related experience is required.

Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients.
  • Ability to work independently with strong attention to accuracy and detail.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
