Licensed Professional Counselor

About the role

We are seeking a Licensed Professional Counselor to provide evaluation, diagnosis, and specialized psychotherapy services in a treatment setting under clinical supervision. The role involves collaborating with patients and their support systems, utilizing evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, dialectical behavioral therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and develop risk mitigation plans
• Deliver individual, group, and family psychotherapy in multi-modal treatment environments
• Facilitate group therapy sessions
• Develop and implement safety planning
• Manage milieu in an adult inpatient psychiatric unit
• Participate as part of an interdisciplinary care team

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Counseling or related field
• Oregon Professional Counselor License

Qualifications

• Practicum experience in behavioral health and substance use treatment (preferred)
• Strong clinical judgment and knowledge of evidence-based therapies
• Effective teamwork and communication skills

Pay

$41.63 - $64.63 per hour, with potential additional compensation.

Schedule

Part-time, on-site.
